Cold Tuna Cake Recipe with QUICK Sliced Bread. Guaranteed success! Step by step
How to make cold tuna cake with sliced bread QUICKLY. Guaranteed success!
1.- Prepare the mold. I have used a mold 29 cm long, 11 wide and 7 deep. We cover the inside of the mold with kitchen film.
2.- Prepare the filling. Chop all the ingredients. Start by chopping the lettuce into a roll. Cut the tomatoes into very small pieces. Place all the ingredients in a bowl. Chop or grate the eggs, reserving one for decoration. Chop the olives. Reserve some for garnish. Cut the roasted peppers. Add the shredded tuna to the bowl with your hands.
3.- Mix the filling and add a little salt. It is not necessary to add a lot of salt because the tuna and olives already have salt. Add the mayonnaise and mix again. You can add mayonnaise of your choice.
4.- Assemble the cake. Fit a layer of bread slices to the shape of the pan. Cover with a layer of filling trying to make it flat and reaching all the corners. Go swap bread slices for stuffing. I have put 4 layers of bread and three fillings.
5.- Cover the cake with the same film that you have covered the mold before putting it in the fridge. We keep it in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
6.- Unmould the cake by turning it over on a tray. Remove the cling film.
7.- Decorate. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on top and on the walls. Put a layer of grated egg on top. Finally, place the olives and pepper strips of your choice.
