I hear the wordBurgerand our eyes are opened. Okay, we’re still picturing the typical hamburger it drips of cheese and various sauces and is not valid, but it is always good.
Among all the alternatives to meat when it comes to making hamburgers, one of the simplest, tastiest and healthiest is to prepare them with lentils.
And the best? That you only need 15 minutes to edit this delicious recipe suggested by Marta Garaulet and Rafael Ansón in their book Simplicity.
500 g lentils
Various vegetables (onion, garlic, red pepper, green pepper and carrot)
2 tablespoons of olive oil
If the lentils are from a jar, wash them well.
With a blender, crush the lentils together with salt and pepper until we have a homogeneous mass.
Wash and cut all the vegetables into small pieces.
Sauté in a pan with the oil until golden brown.
Add the lentils and mix well, leaving the mixture in the pan for 1 minute.
With wet hands, form four patties. If you are not satisfied with the texture, add breadcrumbs.
Let them rest for a while in the fridge to help them set before frying them.
