Italian lemon cake
For 6 people
- 3 eggs
- 140 grams of sugar
- 8 grams of vanilla sugar
- 120 milliliters of sunflower oil
- 100 grams of plain yogurt
- Two lemons
- 250 grams of flour
- 12 grams of baking powder
- 3-4 tablespoons of powdered sugar
Step by step
Make the main mixture
Put the eggs, sugar and vanilla in a bowl. We beat with the electric rods until we have a homogeneous mixture. As soon as it is ready, add the sunflower oil, the natural yogurt and beat well again.
Add the lemon and the flour
Peel the lemon over the mixture, making sure only the yellow part falls through. Add the lemon juice and beat again. Once ready, add the sifted flour and baking powder to the dough. Mix again until all ingredients are well incorporated.

In a form lined with baking paper, pour the main mixture. Put the cake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes at 180 degrees.
